Strategic business planning
How We Sort might work with you and your business
I help small businesses to clarify and achieve their aims.
Every strategy is specific and personal.
A good starting point is defining what you do now.
From there, we can identify where you want to see change.
Customer experience will be central to our discussion and we will consider the marketing and operations that surround and support this.
Deeper into our work together and depending on your goals, we might look at how to stabilise or scale your operation.
Define success
To assess where you’re doing well and where you could put more focus, we’ll need to clearly define your version of success. This will include finances, but the quality of your work and personal life — hours, job satisfaction, stress — will also be relevant.
My view is that a healthy business is profitable, calm and enjoyable. Only you can decide how much profit you’d like, how much excitement and risk you require to keep things interesting, and (of course) what you find enjoyable in your working life.
Considering your work-life ‘integration’ makes more sense than the common view of a work-life ‘balance’.
Plan for the future
I will listen to you, ask a lot of questions, make suggestions for next steps, and then work with you to implement plans alongside you and your team.
As I am external to your business, I will bring an objective perspective which naturally drives momentum and accountability. My experience with production efficiency leans towards simple, evolving solutions that you can further develop and maintain yourself. In my experience, success in business comes from learning what you can predict (and what you cannot).
